On The Screen
GE Theatre - Based on actual historical events, Matthew McConaughey plays a Mississippi native who leads an armed rebellion of struggling farmers and slaves against the Confederacy during the American Civil War. Their efforts led Jones County to secede, creating the Free State of Jones.
Mainstage - FREE screening of the 1951 Academy Award-winning classic, An American in Paris. Don't miss the opportunity to immerse yourself in the inspiration for the Tony Award-winning Broadway smash hit that opens Proctors' fall season in October!
GE Theatre - Yo-Yo Ma & The Silk Road
Ensemble: This extraordinary film follows cellist Yo-Yo Ma and a growing ensemble of vocalists, instrumentalists, composers, visual artists and storytellers as they travel the world, seek new talent, and explore the power of music to preserve tradition, shape cultural evolution & inspire hope.
GE Theatre - Using comedy and indelible characters, his legendary 1970s shows such as All In the Family, Maude, Good Times, and The Jeffersons boldly cracked open dialogue and shifted the national consciousness with regard to race, class, creed, and feminism. And at 93 years old, Lear is revealed here to be as vital and engaged as ever.
