2016 Best Tasting Drinking Water Competition

Will the City of Schenectady retain its current title for the best tasting drinking water in Schenectady County? Local municipalities in the county will do battle to determine who has the best tasting drinking water for 2016. The winner will go on to the regional competition in Albany and, if successful, the State finals at the New York State Fair in Syracuse. Come down and vote for your favorite! More... 

Schenectady Smiles Photo Contest
Enter Through July 27

Show your community pride by submitting up to five photos featuring the City of Schenectady in each of the following five categories: Category #1 - Diversity, Category #2 - Community Vitality, Category #3 - Natural Environment, Category #4 - Architecture/Urban Design, Category #5 - Businesses & Organizations. Submit via The Daily Gazette's website.

Winners will be chosen by a committee of community judges. There will also be an online voting component for the general public to vote for the People's Choice Awards. A Schenectady Smiles Awards Ceremony and Pep Rally will take place on August 17 at Schenectady City Hall. Rules & category explanations.
