This Saturday, November 28
The DSIC is partnering with the Capital Region Chamber and Upper Union Street BID again this year to promote Small Business Saturday and officially kick off the holiday shopping season for Schenectady's local businesses.
Many local businesses will have in-store specials and promotions on Small Business Saturday to boost excitement for the day. Participating Downtown Schenectady businesses are: Ambition Cafe, Cafe NOLA, Downtown Designs, Experience & Creative Design, The Grog Shoppe, Katie O'Byrne's, Lennon's Irish Shop, Majestic Hair Salon, miSci, Moisture Salon, New York Folklore Society, The Open Door Bookstore, Orion Boutique, Puzzles Bakery & Cafe, ReStore Schenectady and Warren Tire. GE Theatre - A perfect post or pre-show event for Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer The Musical. A lively and fun interactive atmosphere with snacks, crafts, and goodies. GE Theatre - Live From WVL Radio Theatre: This fresh new adaptation of the film is set in the fictional studio of WVL Radio Theatre, which is struggling to stay on the air one snowy winter's night. The professional voice actors are unable to get to the studio, but the show must go on.
