The Chamber's
parade, a Capital Region tradition, attracts 20,000-40,000 spectators who will line State Street in Downtown Schenectady for what is widely known as the largest nighttime parade in the Northeast. Enjoy more than 100 magical characters, floats, bands, marchers, dance troupes and decorated vehicles.

Recognizing the growth of Small Business Saturday, several Schenectady business organizations are working together this year to drive community awareness of this special day and officially kick off the holiday shopping season for the City's local businesses. Many of the businesses will have in-store specials, contests, discounts and events on Small Business Saturday, all aimed at boosting local excitement for the day.
