HAMILTON ARTS COUNCIL AD OPPORTUNITY 2012
| |
The Hamilton Arts Council invites you and your business to participate in our inaugural Gallery Guide and our award-nominated Theatre Guide as an advertising sponsor. Both Guides will serve as important resources for both the visual arts and theatre communities respectively. They will also put dozens of arts facilities on the map for the public in the Hamilton and will offer you an invaluable opportunity to promote your business to consumers across the region.
Now, for the first time ever, we are offering business sponsors an opportunity to advertise in BOTH the popular Theatre Guide and the inaugural Gallery Guide for one low price! Participating businesses are eligible to reserve a full page or half page advertisement featuring details and graphics of their choosing. Once printed in September 2012, over ten thousand copies of the Gallery Guide will be distributed during the 2 day Supercrawl event to tourist offices, hotels, attractions, cafés and other key areas across Hamilton, Burlington and the surrounding area, with the Theatre Guide to follow in September 2012 to herald the upcoming theatrical season. Copies will also be made available for distribution within your own organization.
If you would like your business to be featured in both the Theatre Guide & Gallery Guide or if you have any further questions please feel free to contact us Monday to Friday between noon and 5pm at (905) 481 3218.

CHRISTMAS TREE FOR GORE PARK | |
Once again the City of Hamilton is canvassing the community for the perfect Christmas tree to be located in Gore Park for the official Light Up Ceremony which will be on Friday, December 7th in conjunction with CHML and the Christmas Tree of Hope campaign.
The tree must be a 12-metre (40- foot) spruce with a 4.5 metre (15-foot) diameter and a full skirt.
Public Works spokes person Ramona Maharaj says the city has to start early because only two investigators inspect the trees before one is chosen. Last year she reported over 220 calls. The tree must be easily accessible and in a front yard and not near overhead wires.
The city will take care of the removal of the tree about five days before the lighting ceremony. Last year's tree was over 12 metres tall and held about 4,000 ornaments and 2,000 lights.
If you think you have this year's winner, call the city of Hamilton at 905-546-CITY (2489). |
