Advocacy Update
The 2014 CBC Spring Health Braintrust & NMQF Leadership Summit
The National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF) and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc., in cooperation with the Congressional Black Caucus Health Braintrust are hosting a joint event on April 28-29, 2014 at the Ritz Carlton in Washington, D.C.: the NMQF 11th Annual Health Disparities Leadership Summit and the 2014 CBC Spring Health Braintrust.

"Day 2" of this great event is when the 2014 Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. Spring Health Braintrust will occur - Tuesday, April 29, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, 1150 22nd Street NW, Washington, DC. Dr. Alison Riddle-Fletcher, President, National Dental Association will be featured on panel discussing the successes and challenges of African American health providers, as well as exploring short- and long-term solutions. 

NDA members who are interested and available are invited to register via the link below. For our convenience, an agenda overview, registration procedures, and general information for the 2014 CBC Spring Health Braintrust is provided below. It is imperative that our voices be heard regarding the significant role of oral health and oral health practitioners in overall health, health equity, and access to care.

How Do I Register?
Please click the registration link to access the CBC Spring Health Braintrust registration page, and follow the stated instructions.
 
How Much Does It Cost?
The general admission fee is $425.00. This fee includes all sessions and events on April 28-29, 2014, including receptions, awards luncheons, and open seating at the black tie Leadership Awards Dinner (subject to availability).
 
How Do I Reserve A Room?
NMQF has reserved a block of rooms at the Ritz Carlton, Washington DC, at the special room rate of $340 per night plus tax. All reservations must be secured via the CBC Registration Page website to receive the discounted rate.
