Dr. Gary Kaplan Featured in The Pain Practitioner

 

In September 2013, Dr. Gary Kaplan was invited to present two lectures at the American Academy of Pain Management's (AAPM) Annual Clinical Meeting. Dr. Kaplan first addressed nutrition & supplement use in managing chronic pain & depression. His second lecture focused on Central Sensitization Syndrome, titled "Microglia and Central Sensitization Syndrome: A New Paradigm for Understanding and Treating Chronic Pain and Depression."

This lecture formed the basis for an article Dr. Kaplan and his coauthor, Juliana Heimur, BA, contributed to AAPM's quarterly magazine, The Pain Practitioner. You can find it on our website by clicking here.
