We'll get you back in the game!

Welcome to the Dr. Lee Cohen community.  Our practice is working together to realize a shared vision of uncompromising excellence in podiatric care.  We focus on addressing treatment, injury prevention, and athletic performance enhancement.

Tips For Keeping Your Kids Healthy In Sports
  1. Make sure all practices and games are under the direct supervision of trained coaches.
  2. Make sure all playing fields are in good repair.
  3. Make sure your child has the proper footwear for their specific sport.
  4. Try to limit your child to one primary sport per season.
  5. Make sure your child has a preseason physical which should include postural evaluation.
  6. Pain with activity is dangerous and should be addressed immediately by discontinuing the activity.  There are no good results when you tell your child they must play through the pain.
  7. A good healthy diet is essential.
  8. Adequate hydration is vital not just during games but all day long.
  9. Any weight room training should be age appropriate and supervised by a certified strength and conditioning coach.
  10. When using any pain medications, try the natural root first: essential oils, arnica gel, topical anti-inflammatories.
