Dragon Tales  Weekly Newsletter
November 17, 2016

Dear St. George Families,

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks and reap the harvest. One of the most plentiful gifts any of us have is the gift of family.  As we gather with our families and friends this Thanksgiving, let's ask God's blessings on us that we may keep our lives in perspective and take the time for the things that really matter.  Our children are only children once.  Let's not miss the opportunity to make a difference in their lives. I am very grateful for all the families, faculty, staff and friends at St. George School.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

 THANK YOU

SGS's Home and School Association would like to extend a huge "THANK YOU" to all the people who helped make Grandparent's Day such a success.  Heartfelt thanks to the golf cart donors and drivers, traffic directors and the many volunteers who made this day possible.

Thank you to the following businesses for their generous donations for the reception:  Alexander's Highland Market, CC's Coffee House ~ Siegen Lane, Parrain's Seafood Restaurant, Louisiana Lagniappe, DeAngelo's, Chick-fil-A, Martin's Wine Cellar, and the St. George Baker's Committee.

Thank you to Jan Dupre, Angela Sneed, Sonya Blanchard, student performers and their volunteers for a wonderful church program.  Thank you to all the faculty, staff and maintenance crew who helped us beyond measure.  Last but not least, thank you to all of the grandparents and special friends who came and spent the morning with us.  We could not have had such a wonderful day without all of you.  Thank you all!  We hope to see you again next year!

*****************************************************************

The faculty, staff and students of St. George School wholeheartedly appreciate and thank the members of our Home and School Association, under the guidance of Jenny Vargas and Dawn Aucoin, Special Events Coordinators, for hosting this special event for our grandparents and special friends.
