We were delighted to host the battle between Caspian Drilling Company vs. Garage Bar on Sunday. Congratulations to Les Tulleth and the CDC team on their win, we look forward to hosting the rematch soon. Another strong turnout for the Azerbaijan International Society tournament with some excellent scores and handicap reductions to match. We look forward to a busy final few weeks of 2017!
We are already looking forward to our traditional Festive Christmas Scramble which will be held on Sunday the 10th of December. If you have 4 player team with Fancy Dress and would like to play together, then please enter as two 2 player teams and email and we will put you in as a one team. If you wish to avoid the fancy dress theme we will be delighted to offer 2 player sign ups where we will do a Santa Draw on the morning to combine you with another 2 to create a 4 player team. Please sign up to avoid disappointment – we look forward to seeing some innovative costumes at this year’s event.
Saturday 25th of November – Roll up Results
Due to windy and rainy playing conditions only 19 members participated in last week’s Saturday Roll Up. As expected, the results were lower than normal due to the conditions – well done to Callum Stewart winning with 32 points. There was a tie for 2nd place with Bruce Munroe Ferguson and Gary Green both scoring 28 points. Since both players had equal – 13 back nine points, it further required us to look at their back 6 scores. After countback Bruce took 2nd place with 8pts vs. Gary’s 7 inward points which resulted him to take third place. Last Saturday’s only 2 came from Grant Gilmour, thanks to his birdie on 11 th hole.
