Recommended Study Tools/Resources:
- A King James Bible or New King James Version(For study purposes, they keep you closer to the actual words used or meanings implied. It's still good to read other translations, but for study, you need to go back to a more original version.)
-"Figures of Speech Used in the Bible ...Explained and Illustrated, by E.W. Bullinger. I was able to find a free .pdf file, but it was too large for me to put in this newsletter.
Other E.W. Bullinger Resources we recommend:
- Number in Scripture - Its Supernatural Design and Spiritual Significance
- The Witness of the Stars
- How to Enjoy the Bible - 12 Basic Principles for Understanding God's Word.
The Name Book - Over 10,000 Names - Their Meanings, Origins, and Spiritual Significance by Dorothy Astoria.
How to Study Your Bible - Inductive Bible Study by Kay Arthur
Dictionary of Biblical Imagery - (free link under the quick links section of this newsletter!) An encyclopedic exploration of the images, symbols, motifs, metaphors, figures of speech and literary patterns of the Bible. General Editors: Leland Ryken, James C. Wilhoit, Temper Longman III.
Please note that some books may offer a free copy for e-readers such as Kindle or Nook.
At this point, try to refrain from reading any books on dreams and dream interpretation other than the Bible, even though they may be Christian. We want to teach you to research it for yourself and allow God to show you personally through His Word. Everything we do will bring you into the Word of God and scripture will speak for itself.
