Dreams Derailed - Are You Ready
to Get Back On Track With Your Dreams?

I haven't written a blog post for a while due to my move from Tampa, FL to Philadelphia, PA to Austin, TX. My last blog post is entitled "Dreams Derailed - Are You Ready to Get Back on Track With Your Dreams."
With all the despair and hopelessness in this country at this time, I want to inspire everyone with my tips on how to get back on track with living your dreams. Many people have gotten off track with their dreams and don't know which direction to turn.
Sometimes it's because of their real lack of desire to change their lives. For some reason or another -- people are afraid of changes especially as they age but this is especially the time that everyone should think about how they will live the rest of their lives.
Change in itself can bring about true happiness and I am living proof of that. In January 2013, I left Atlanta, GA after 19 years in search of a new home and environment since my neighborhood had become a crime-infested area and I wanted a new group of customers and clients for my business, Angels Press (http://www.angelspress.com).
After living my dreams by being on the road for an entire year and traveling to 15 states with "The Cathy Harris Empowerment Tour" -- which was a "National Humanitarian Tour," I finally realized that I wanted to settle down in Austin, TX, where I will be building new business empowerment networks in Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and other surrounding areas.
Many people have gotten off track because of the people they have allowed to come into their lives. Many times it could be family members, relationships, friends or associates that will keep people from living their dreams.
Remember other people won't see your dreams so it's important for you to protect your dreams by getting co-dreamers. So surround yourself with people who will help protect your dreams.
No matter what has caused you to get off track, getting back on track will be about dedication, commitment, self-discipline and will-power.
A great philosopher once said, "You are what you think about all day long" -- so first for you to move in the directions of your dreams, you need to protect your thoughts. Anytime a negative thought creeps into your mind, you need to replace it with a positive thought.
The great philosopher also said, "Change your thoughts and change your life." So again what you are thinking about all day long -- you will become? If you think about poverty, hunger and disease -- then that is what you will manifest in your life. If you think about being happy, energetic and full of life, then that's the type of life you will live.
When you get out of bed everyday your goal should be to walk in the direction of your dreams and the best way to do this is to be positive. The best way to stay positive is to turn your brain back on by eating natural, fresh, raw, organic foods (eat from the land); Turn off the stove because heat depletes nutrients -- and juice, blend and steam green foods (the darker the green the better) which builds up your body and releases serotonin in your brain which makes you feel good; Take 1,000 to 2,000 mg of Vitamin D-3 everyday which is the mood vitamin; Get at least 20 minutes of sunlight everyday which will help your mood; Take 2 tablespoons of Omega 3 Flaxseed Oil everyday which is good for your brain, skin, hair, nails, PMS/Menopause, prostate, etc.; and engage in a regular exercise program which releases endorphins in your brain which makes you feel good.
Also get plenty of sleep every night by going to bed the same time every night. Don't forget to clean up your environment by going totally natural from your head to toe by using only natural products on your body and natural products to clean your house with.
Once you turn your brain back on, you will not believe the opportunities and possibilities that will present itself in your life. You will be able to see your entire life in a new light and get back on course with moving in the directions of your dreams. Good luck!

PREFACE - A NOTE TO THE READER
Over the last few years there have been a complete paradigm shift in this country and there have been many reasons for this. The question is how do we embrace this New World and survive and how do we save the people that we care deeply about?

The New World started with GMOs, also called Genetically Modified Organisms, which have been altering foods for the past 20 years and have affected the way that most people think or don't think because these foods (all processed foods) turns off the brain.
Global Warming made drastic changes in the weather but GMOs, the Green Movement and Chemtrails totally poisoned the environment.
The 2007/08 housing market crash brought even more despair when you had everyone living in parks on one side of the street and on the other side of the street, you had empty homes owned by banks.
The quality of schools deteriorated when Corporate America started downsizing and outsourcing jobs. Most employees who were downsized with degrees ended up teaching schools even though many of these people did not care about children.
They were simply there for a paycheck and because of this and funding going into prisons instead of the school system, schools are serving as feeders into the prison system.
Technology eliminated many jobs and because people were tuned into computers or some type of hand-held gadget, it created bad customer service in every industry and allowed cyber bullying to become the new norm on many social networking sites.
Because of 911 and technology, it has allowed massive spying by government and law enforcement especially the NSA.gov. And gay marriage changed the whole make-up of the family which also contributed to bullying.

So -- you're thinking of starting your own business? Well, you're not alone. It's the American entrepreneurial dream to take a business idea from the research to planning stages -- to the day when you open your doors, hang out your shingle or go live online.
Many people dream about becoming a business owner but only a few actually do it. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to open your own business. All you need is the know-how of how to go from point A to point B and this book will show you how to do it.
Many businesses are set up the same way. There is someone at the helm who is not satisfied with other people making decisions in their lives. Business owners are risk takers -- but they are intelligent risk-takers.
You keep thinking how great it would be to be your own boss. Don't underestimate the amount of work and passion required to become a business owner. Starting a business may be the hardest, most difficult, and at the same time the most rewarding thing you will ever do. But remember sacrifices will have to be made, particularly in the beginning.
If you have a product, service, or concept that the marketplace would like to have then begin now and simply never quit. If you're not sure of what to do, enter into a time of study, planning and research.
Remember a business might run you down both physically and emotionally, so you will need to have a good amount of stamina and drive when starting a business. There will be long days ahead with some difficult decisions that will have to be made.

It will require you to work through exhaustion while also having the patience to deal with periods of slowdown and burnout. To avoid some of the business pitfalls -- eliminate as many of the barriers as possible before you start.
You will be faced with hundreds of decisions to make, so you should develop a business sense now. You need to have the skills to discern good business decisions from bad ones, along with being able to think on your feet and under pressure.
Still, don't dream of being your own boss - make it happen! Starting a business can be exciting and a great opportunity for you to be your own boss and it can be the most rewarding venture of your life.

Number 1:
Take the 'Youth Talent Survey' Test
to Figure Out What Business to Start...
for ages 5 to 18
1. Do you know what subject you would like to major in, if you attend college?
2. What is your favorite subject in school?
3. What is your next favorite subject in school?
4. Are you a whiz at a particular skill (writing, singing, dancing, speaking, art, the computer, cooking, sewing, carpentry, photography, car mechanic, etc.)?
5. Can you play an instrument (trumpet, flute, clarinet, piano, etc.)? If so, which one?
6. What are your natural talents? What can you do with very little work that other people might find hard to do?
7. What is your passion? What is it that you like to talk about, read about and do?
8. What about hobbies? Do you have any hobbies?
9. Is there something you make or do that family and friends compliment you on?
10. Do you like animals (dogs, cats, birds, fish, etc.)?
Number 2:
Conduct Research
Once you figure out what type of business you want to start conduct research. Remember the more research you conduct on the front-end of starting a business -- the quicker you will be able to open your doors of business entrepreneurship.
1. Go to the library and read books or order books online.
2. Use Google.com or Yahoo.com - the two largest search websites on the internet.
3. Get a mentor. All young people need mentors.

Margaret since you are not willing to share with me who you are and what you blew the whistle on -- I can only comment on what all whistleblowers need to do once they come forward.
After blowing the whistle you will need to stay vigilant because chances are the people you blew the whistle on will forever have you and your loved ones under their microscopes. However, I wouldn't let that bother you because everyone is under a microscope by the government -- especially nowadays.
However, you will really need to watch yourself in terms of doing anything illegal or being around others involved in anything illegal -- and always continue to surround yourself with media entities.
Media entities can be anyone including family members and friends who supported you and know your story that can still help you tell your story -- and always remember "the best outlet for a whistleblower is the media."
These can also be mom and pop community newspapers and newsletters, school newspapers, community and internet radio, supporters on twitter.com, facebook.com, instagram.com...anyone that supported you.
There is life after whistleblowing despite what it might look like now. After you blow the whistle...you should carve out some type of life for you and your loved ones. Many people will need to start businesses because they will be blackballed in their cities from ever getting any type of employment again.

I market myself with my blogs, articles, newsletters, radio shows, seminars and workshops, on facebook.com, twitter.com, and linkedin.com, instagram.com, etc. It's hard to keep up with all the technology today but marketing is basically staying out there in front of your customers and clients.
You also need to continue to tell your story in a book so my writing book "How To Write A Book: The Complete Guide To Writing and Selling Your Own Paperback and E-book" will help you with that.
Try to do an e-book, paperback and audiobook and continue to tell your story. If you don't have a lot of money then just start off with an e-book and Chapter 5 of my writing book -- will lay out the steps for that.
Your story is now a part of you and it will forever be etched in the minds of others who heard it -- so it's now a part of you. You need to use what you blew the whistle on and create a new life for yourself.
Speaking is always a great career because now you are an expert on that topic. You can learn how to become a great speaker by reading the book "Speak and Grow Rich." It's only a few cents at Amazon.com. And of course to be a speaker you will need a product (book, CD, DVD, etc.) to sell.
My story is told in two books "The Cathy Harris Story: A Whistleblower's Victorious Journey to Justice" and "The Failure of Homeland In-Security: The Government's Dirty Little Secrets from an Insider."
To learn how to become successful as a whistleblower read my story and several books I released on workplace discrimination "Workplace Survival Guide: How To Fight Discrimination, Whistleblowing and the Workers' Compensation System" and "Discrimination 101 (Volume I and II)" because most whistleblowers are also workplace complainants -- so therefore, it's important to know how to fight back in the workplace.
Once you have a good understanding on how workplaces work and why many people are forced to become a whistleblower in the first place, then and only then -- you will have all the information to become empowered to move forward and create the life that you can truly love.
Because of my whistleblowing, I am now part of the American Whistleblower Tour for my attorneys at the Government Accountability Project (GAP) in Washington, DC. I am preparing my own documentary to show to others around the country at "The Cathy Harris Story."
Once you get in a corner and become quiet -- that's when they (aka the government or whomever you blew the whistle on) will come after you -- so stay out there and tell your story.
