I'm pretty sure we set a new record on Sunday for the
 SMALLEST attendance ever at a service: 88. The bad weather struck at precisely the wrong moment, just when people were getting ready to come to the 10:30am service.
The weather was so bad, I was surprised that we even had 88 people. I love the dedication...but fear for your safety! I hope everyone's home and property survived the storm.
The Harshest and Most Hopeful Words in the Bible:
If you were one of the many people who stayed home on
 Sunday (or were on vacation) I hope you'll stay current with our series by
listening to it or reading it here. I looked at the end of the Old Testament where God's people failed him miserably and ended up in exile. But even in their unfaithfulness, God proved himself faithful.
Classic & Classy Cars On Father's Day: This Sunday we'll
 reserve the front row of the parking lot for classic and classy cars on Father's Day. Why? It's just fun! So get that car out of storage and drive it down to Cedarbrook. Bikers, Father's Day is your day to show off that nice ride of yours too. Please come a little early so people can have time to view before each service.
Automate What's Most Important.
When life gets busy, it's easy to forget to pay a bill, or feed the dog, or watch that special TV show. That's why it's nice to
automate what you don't want to forget.
If supporting the church is important to you, you can automate that too. The more people who automate their giving, the easier it is to pay our bills, say, when the weather cuts our attendance in half!

At Cedarbrook, we honor both baptism traditions: Infant baptism and believer baptism. Please note the following dates for upcoming baptisms:
Infant Baptism and Dedication:
This is the parents way of including their child in their faith journey.
- Pre-Meeting: Monday July 17th 7PM (required)
- Baptism: Sunday July 30th
Believer Baptism: This is a person's public declaration of their new faith in Christ and commitment to follow his teaching.
- Pre-Meeting: Monday July 24th 7PM (required)
- Baptism: Sunday August 13th 6PM

We are committed to "Elevating our SERVE" inside and outside of Cedarbrook. Here's a chance to help in the Menomonie community:
Tuesday's Table is a free meal offered to anyone in the community from
5:00
-6:00 PM each Tuesday. Would you be interested in volunteering with other Cedarbrookers, every other month, for approximately 75 minutes?

Stephanie Demers grandmother, Carolyn Walker, passed away last week at the age of 97. Caroline played a big role in the life of Stephanie and her other grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Carolyn will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, June 16th at Hill Funeral Home, Ellsworth, WI with visitation from 4:00-6:00 PM.
If someone you know has lost a friend or loved one, is welcoming a new life into their family, or in a tough spot, please email [email protected] so we can reach out to them as a community.

Free Counseling Service Available at UW Stout
|
Emily Onken is a psychology student at UW-Stout. Her cohort is taking a summer counseling class, where they are required to counsel 3 community members for 4 sessions, with each session being 30 minutes long. The purpose of the course is to build on basic counseling skills as a counselor-in-training. If you would be interested/able to come to campus for four sessions throughout the summer you can
contact her here.
We are passing this information on as a public service. Cedarbrook does not necessarily endorse the counseling provided but want you to be aware of the opportunity.

Tuesday's Table Fundraiser at the Barrel Room

Tuesday's Table and Thursday's Table is a Free Meal offered to anyone in the community from
5:00
-6:00 PM each Tuesday (St. Joe's Catholic Church) and Thursday (Congregational Church).
On Wednesday, July 19th, Tuesday's Table and Thursday's Table will host a Guest Server Night at the Barrel Room. All server tips will go to fund this local ministry.
Come on out to enjoy the evening and help fund these two important ministries!
