Water Efficiency Tip

Time your shower to keep it under five minutes. You will save up to 1,000 gallons of water per month.
Save water and money with Garden In A Box
On average, more than 50 percent of your summer water bill goes towards watering your landscape. Lower your water bill with a Garden In A Box Xeric, perennial garden. As a Centennial Water customer you may be eligible for a $25 discount.

Each Garden In A Box plan is competitively priced starting at $79. Choose from a variety of different gardens with options for sun, shade and high altitude. And for the first time, Resource Central is hosting a pick up location in Highlands Ranch. Gardens can be picked up Thursday, May 31 at Shea Stadium at Redstone Park between 4 and 7 p.m.

To view the full garden collection and order your Garden In A Box, visit resourcecentral.org/gardens, or for more information, call 303-791-0430.
Safely and securely dispose of medications
Centennial Water encourages you to safely dispose of expired, unused and unwanted prescription and over-the-counter drugs, keeping them out of the water supply and out of harm's way for Highlands Ranch residents and the natural environment.

In the past, flushing medicine down the toilet was a preferred method of disposal. This was, and still is not the best disposal method. It is never safe to dispose of medications by flushing them down the toilet.

Instead, dispose of them at the National Drug Take Back day on Saturday, April 28. Centennial Water, along with the Highlands Ranch Metro District and Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO), are hosting a drop off site at the DCSO Highlands Ranch Substation from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Water Quality Report
Every year, Centennial Water publishes a Water Quality Report. This report is designed to inform you about the quality water and services delivered to you every day. Centennial Water's goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. We want you to understand the efforts we make to continually improve the water treatment process and protect our water resources.

Click here to view the 2017 Water Quality Report or pick up a paper copy beginning April 9 at the Centennial Water office at 62 Plaza Dr., Highlands Ranch 80129.
Slow the Flow free irrigation inspections
A limited number of free irrigation inspections are available to Centennial Water residential customers, on a first-come, first-served basis. The inspections are conducted through Resource Central's Slow the Flow program. The inspection will reveal the efficiency of your irrigation system and Resource Central inspectors will provide you with suggestions to improve it.

Since the program began in 2004, Slow the Flow has helped conserve more than 90 million gallons of water. To schedule your appointment, contact Resource Central at 303-999-3824, or visit resourcecentral.org.
