SE Florida Regional Climate Change Compact
2017 Revision of the RCAP
Update of the Regional Climate Action Plan (RCAP) has begun with evaluation of new recommendations by local stakeholders for RCAP 2.0. Save the Date for the RCAP session on Thursday, April 27 at North Regional/Broward College Library.

RCAP 2.0 will be presented in December at the 9th Annual
SE Florida Regional Climate Leadership Summit.

Meet Kim Elliott, CES Education & Training Coordinator at DuPuis Nature Center

In the pine flatwoods of FAU's DuPuis Nature Center, students collect plant data as part of the Legacy Education Program, a dual-enrollment course with Clark Advanced Learning Center and Indian River State College (IRSC) in Stuart. For the seventh consecutive year, IRSC Biologist Dr. Kyle Bartow, Legacy's lead instructor, and CES Education & Training Coordinator Kim Elliott teach students the importance of volunteer service by engaging them in real-world research.
