Historic Downtown Dyersburg
Christmas Banners
In advance of the Dyersburg Christmas Parade, Main Street Dyersburg installed the Christmas Banners in the Historic District downtown. In the photo, J.D. Wilson of Suckerpunch Sign and Graphics carefully hangs each of the 31 banners at night when all the parking spaces are open on the Square. Local businesses and organizations purchased Christmas banners to replace the electric Christmas decorations that had been used for decades. During the recent downtown streetscape project, the light poles were replaced with modern reproductions of the exact lighting used in 1922. Additional banners for other seasons are available by contacting Steve Guttery at the Chamber at 731-285-3433.
