ROAD UPDATES
We're entering the homestretch of the E-470 Road Widening Project! On October 16, 2017 paving operations completed project-wide in both directions between Parker Road and Quincy Avenue.

Lane impacts are currently anticipated to be minimal as final striping, lighting, landscaping, and signage work is completed. Work on the new regional bike and pedestrian trail remains ongoing. The trail will open to the public once all sections are completed.

Thank you for your patience, as the E-470 Road Widening Project is expected to be complete by the end of 2017!

TRANSPORTATION NEWS
Cross the line, Pay a fine!
In response to feedback from customers and local governments, CDOT, HPTE, Plenary Roads Denver, and Colorado State Patrol are announcing increased safety enforcement along the US 36 and I-25 Express Lanes.

Colorado State Patrol is actively patrolling these lanes to create a safer driving environment and reduce unsafe driving behavior. Weaving in and out of the Express Lanes or crossing the solid line can yield up to a $1,000 fine and points off a driver's license. When you drive in the US 36 and I-25 Express Lanes, be aware that if you cross the line, you will pay a fine! Read the news release.

Remember that drivers are never forced to pay a toll and can use the free general purpose lanes. When using the Express Lanes or any Colorado tolling facility, ExpressToll customers always pay the lowest toll rate.
SAFETY AWARENESS
Ready for Winter
Although the first snow fall on our road came early this year on October 8, 2017,  E-470 is prepared to continue providing a safe and reliable commute for all drivers during winter driving conditions.

E-470 is equipped with pavement and surface sensors as well as a road weather information station so we can pretreat the road before a storm, provide the proper roadway maintenance during the storm, and prevent freeze-back after the storm has passed. E-470's snow plow team is on call 24/7, and up to 23 plows can deploy based on winter weather severity.
