Hot Summer Subjects for Chamber's 2020 Forums
Innovative trends for new school and classroom construction; the City of Pleasanton budget and financial picture; the Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone will be the focus of our June 14, July 12, and August 9, Pleasanton 2020 Forums this summer.
Each month we feature interactive presentations by knowledgeable folks on subject matter related to Pleasanton 2020: A Community Vision, the Chamber's local public policy agenda to help ensure Pleasanton remains among the very best cities in the country in which to live, work and raise a family.
To encourage a variety of perspectives and participation, 2020 Forums are not just for chamber members, but all forums are open to the public, elected as well as appointed officials, organized labor, educators and more. We have seating for 36.
Herb Ritter, a local business person, planning commissioner and Chamber Board member is our moderator. We start at 7:30 a.m. and end no later than 9 a.m. sharp, the second Wednesday of each month. A great crowd turned out to Handles Gastropub for the April mixer. Guests enjoyed a delicious spread of pulled pork sliders, chicken wings, mac n cheese, caesar salad and more. Handles has 30 beers & 16 wines rotating on tap behind a full cocktail bar, farm-fresh seasonal American cuisine, live music, pint nights, and more.
