Monday's seem a little tougher now for some of us. I say that to say this. I enjoyed getting a work out in last night at the Men's Open Gym Pick Up basketball games. We had a good time sharing in some friendly competition. It reminded me of how sometimes in life we have to step out of our comfort zone and put forth some extra hustle in order to get things done in life. But having people on your team and along side you in your journey makes it all better. They not only make you work harder, but also show their support, encourage you, and they're also there to grab a rebound when you take a shot when you know you shouldn't. I appreciate all of my teammates, both on and off the court.

Souper Bowl Sunday
Super Bowl LII will be a battle between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots, and it's time to bring in cans of soup to "vote" for your favorite team!    The big game is on Sunday, February 4, so bring your soup to the front of the Sanctuary, and place it in front of the sign for the team you hope will win.  Soup will be donated to the Community Cupboard.

Construction Update
This week the north end of Byrd Hall was torn down, and they have started to haul off the remaining debris. They will finish the roof line and the remaining wall in the next couple weeks. The kitchen remodel is progressing, and the expansion will continue in the next several weeks. The upstairs in Byrd Hall is being finished now that the end has been torn off. Please avoid the construction area, staying away from the barricaded areas. Great progress this week.
