There is no doubt that music is one of the best vehicles we have to worship God. We are very blessed to have such a great group of volunteer musicians in the choir, orchestra, and handbell choir, as well as small ensembles and soloists. These folks did a great job of providing spiritually uplifting music during Lent and on Easter Sunday, and they continue to devote their time throughout the year to serve and worship God with their musical talents. A big THANK YOU to all of these dedicated servants!
FREE CONCERT: The Handbell Choir is excited to be attending the Handbell Musicians of America Festival and Workshop at the Charleston Civic Center on April 13th and 14th. The Festival concludes on Saturday, April 14th with a concert at 5:00 p.m. which is free and open to the public.  Come and hear the amazing and beautiful sound of over 250 handbell musicians ringing together.

Choir Director

PipeSounds Presents "Hollywood Magic"
Join us this Sunday, April 15, at 3:00 p.m., as we welcome back guest organist Rob Richards, artist at the El Capitan Theater in Disneyland.  Our annual pops concert is sure to delight with the theme "Hollywood Magic".  Adults $10; students and children free.  Mr. Richards will perform a concert for the students of Conner St. Elementary School on Friday, April 13, at 1:00 p.m.

Flocking Insurance
Make sure you get your Flocking Insurance Policy early in April  at the Connection Center. $25 will help keep those pesky birds away from your precious lawn.  Also, for $30 we will send them to a "friend's" yard, but act fast as there are only a limited number of opportunities each season! We always appreciate the fun you all have with this annual mission trip fund raiser.

Construction Update
This week the construction team has made forward progress with the pier work for the canopy on the north end of the new building and Byrd Hall. This will give covered access for entry to the double doors to the Sunday school classrooms and COM. The drywall upstairs is finished, and the first coat of finish paint is near completion in Byrd Hall. Freezers and refrigerators are moved into the new kitchen, and some new units have been added with the blessing of the United Methodist Women. Forward progress to serve in the future.
