E-IPER PhD and Joint MS graduates
At the ceremony, we were pleased to present our first-ever student award for extraordinary service to PhD graduate Aaron Strong. Aaron's mentorship shapes the future generations of E-IPER students; his teaching enlightens both graduate and undergraduate students about the relationship between humans and the natural world; and his leadership sets a clear example of service that inspires others to contribute to Stanford and to the broad community beyond.
Congratulations to all 2015-2016 E-IPER graduates!

On Thursday, June 16, New York-based Stanford alumni and students joined in a unique networking event focused on the intersection of business, sustainability, and clean energy. Held at the Yale Club, over 80 MS-MBA and MBA alumni and students from six peer institutions caught up with old friends and made new connections through a facilitated "speed networking" activity.
Participants came from organizations such as JP Morgan, Ford Foundation, Honeywell, Encourage Capital, and Chipotle amongst many others. This event is the second from co-hosts Stanford E-IPER, Michigan's
Erb Institute, Duke's
Center for Energy, Development, and the Global Environment, Cornell's
Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise, MIT's
Sustainability Initiative, and Yale's
Center for Business and the Environment. We will continue to host similar events and look forward to more ways to collaborate in the future with this group of peers.
