PROGRAM UPDATE 
E3 Center is Recruiting Young Adults for its FREE Education and Employment Services

JEVS's E3 Center in Center City, Philadelphia, is looking for young adults, ages 16 to 21, who need help achieving educational, career and personal goals, including self-sufficiency. Services are offered for free and include: GED and other educational assistance, college or trade school planning, job readiness, paid internship/community service and job search assistance, leadership coaching and financial and personal counseling.

Making Hope Happen for Kyle 
Program Participant for JEVS Lasko College Prep Program

Meet Kyle, senior at Souderton Area High School and JEVS Lasko College Prep Program participant. He heard about the program from his Rabbi and decided to check it out. Since joining, his SAT scores have gone up 240 points, his college and financial aid applications are in--he's waiting to hear from schools to make his college choice.

JEVS MAKES EMPLOYMENT WORK  
TCY Gives First-Time, Non-Violent Offenders a Second Chance

This month, graduates from The Choice is Yours (TCY) got certificates and a fresh start from Philadelphia District Attorney R. Seth Williams and Judge Marsha Neifield. TCY is an alternative-to-incarceration program that gives first-time, non-violent felony drug offenders an opportunity for a new life with education, job placement, case management and other supports.
