A Memorial service for our sister Ronnie Paxton, who died December 26th, will be held at Christ Church this Saturday March 18th at 1:00 p.m. We are organizing a reception after the service for Ronnie's children and friends.  May her soul and the souls of the all the faithful departed through the mercies of God rest in peace. 
 
Remember this Sunday the three Episcopal Churches of Lorain County will join together for  "Eat, Pray, Sing" at St. Andrew's Church, 300 Third Street, Elyria, Ohio from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.   If you are planning to attend please bring a salad to share. We eat at 5 p.m. and worship in the style of Taize at 6 p.m. Please join us!

  Last Sunday we had two new acolytes and two new coffee hour hosts!  Thank you Hannah, Madeleine, Meghan and Katy!  And, Christ Church made the front cover of the 2017 Spring Issue of Church Life!  Thanks again to everyone who helped out with our photo op!

Morning Prayer is read in the choir of the church on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 8 a.m. Consider joining this prayer opportunity during this Lenten Season    

Inquirer's Class during Lent March 29 April 1, 8, 26 Time: 7:30 - 9 p.m.   
We're Here for you Bishop Mark Hollingsworth will be making his Episcopal visit to Christ Church on Sunday May 7th. In preparation for that visit, Fr. Brian will be holding a series of four Inquirer's classes for those who want to know more about the Episcopal Church and for those who want to prepare fro Confirmation, Reaffirmation or Reception into the Episcopal Church.  Please speak with Fr. Brian if you would like to participate.
Don't forget. No Fish Fry this Friday, St. Patricks Day.  Fish Frys at St. Andrew, Elyria, 300 Third Street will resume on March  24, 29 April 7. Meals will be served between 5-7 p.m.

Congratulations Citizen Yorki! (almost!)

Yorki Encalada sucessfully passed his civics exam and citizenship interview on 03/14 and will be officially sworn in as an American Citizen soon!
