Crisp air, fallen leaves, festive lights, and the swirling scent of chocolate and peppermint - we are on the cusp of the "Holiday Bustle". How fortunate are we to live on Long Island? We have the best restaurants, shopping and activities to share with friends and loved ones.
Although "Cyber Shopping" certainly has its advantages, there is nothing more festive than perusing through decorated stores with soothing holiday tunes to swipe a credit card and exit with a pretty shopping bag full of goodies. We should be thinking of our beautiful stores and eateries in MELVILLE to do this! Please support our "localness" for your shopping. We certainly have an amazing selection up and down 110.
The Melville Chamber is also celebrating the launch of its new website with plans to bring you a new and refreshed look at all of the events that are hosted and the news that is posted, ( I did not even mean for that to rhyme). We are having a Roundtable on December 13th.   Also, a Holiday Gathering is planned for December 13th that is sure to sparkle with our members commencing the year and planning for 2017.
The re-launch of the W.O.M.E.N. group has been a success with plans to continue our Thursday evening events for 2017. We have some interesting meetings scheduled. We welcome more of you wonderful women! In addition, please do not forget to check out the activities for our YPG.
The Melville Chamber wishes you a Blessed Holiday Season, and a Happy and Productive 2017!
"It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future.  It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace."      - Agnes M. Pharo
