Happy New Year from your Melville Chamber of Commerce! We hope you all had a great Holiday Season with very special memories to cherish!, It was a great year for the Chamber with very successful events and interactions. As we look back at all we've been able to accomplish, we send our sincere thank you for your participation and involvement. I would also like to thank our Board and Staff for their hard work and commitment.
As we look forward as to what's to come, we are thrilled to share our excitement the Chamber has to offer our community and Long Island in 2017!
Your support for our local economy has been tremendous, and as businesses, we appreciate you all very much. It's our opportunity to continue in giving back and work with local businesses, schools, churches, non-profits, etc. Our mission is to foster a stronger and more vital business environment not only in our area but throughout Long Island. We will work together with our business leaders, community leaders, professional leaders, and our Elected Officials to continue to improve the quality of life for both our business community and our residents.
Our very active year starts off with our upcoming Breakfast Meeting at Farmingdale State College on January 10th and the opportunity to meet the new College President, Dr. John S. Nader. Our annual "Welcome to the New Year Celebration" featuring our Businesses of the Year at Colonial Springs Golf Club in Farmingdale on January 26th. We have also met with and scheduled an interactive breakfast meeting with the Suffolk County Police Commissioner, Tim Sini for Febrauary 28th, details to follow.
