Welcome to the long-awaited Fall Season, clocks will be changing soon; Thanksgiving will be coming in a few weeks. Your Melville Chamber of Commerce is always here for you.
I hope everyone enjoyed the Melville Chamber Expo as much as I did. I was pleased to see everyone networking with each other and relationships being made. And, let's hear it for our Restaurant's Row sponsors. Many of the members came over to me to comment on how much they enjoyed the Expo.
We offer all these groups to support members such as our Young Professionals Group, W.O.M.E.N.'s Group, Business Resource Roundtable meetings, and Podcasts. Our Breakfast Meetings and the After Hours Networking Meetings are second to none. We offer value to all the members to expand their contacts and grow their businesses.
Coming up this month on November 1
st we will be having a Young Professionals Group meeting, on November 7
th a Business Roundtable Meeting, an After Hours Event on November 14
th, and a Women's Group meeting on November 16
th.
I'd like to remind our membership about the importance of shopping locally. It's something I feel strongly and I urge you to utilize your fellow Chamber members first. They offer first rate goods and services. This will allow all of us to prosper.
I would like to give a shout out to our Executive Director, Ted Macaluso. Ted works tirelessly making this one of the best Chambers on Long Island.
It is an honor and privilege for me to serve on your Board of Directors. I would like to thank all of our Board for working very hard and doing a great job.
