National Night Out festivities took place on Tuesday evening at Excursion Park, where hundreds of children and their families enjoyed free entertainment, food, games and other fun.  My thanks go to Captain Tom McQuillen for organizing this year's National Night Out activities - and all of our police officers and community volunteers who made the night possible, including Casino Pizza / LaCosta Bar, Cammo Dog Hot Dogs, the Cape May County Prosecutors Office and Sheriff's Department, C ASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children), the Chamber of Commerce & Revitalization, Glancey Enterprises, The Ocean Drive Bar & Grill, The Springfield Inn, The Sea Isle Inn, Town Watch / Town Pride, as well as Sea Isle City's Ambulance Corps, Beach Patrol, Fire Department, Municipal Alliance Committee, Public Works Department and Tourism Office.  I would also like to thank the ladies from City Hall who manned our National Night Out Dunk Tank, which raised over $700 for my 2017 Holiday Toy and Food Drive. <<READ MORE>>

During the July 25 City Council meeting, two ordinances had second reading and public hearing - and both were adopted...
  • Ordinance 1610 was written to adopt the Sea Isle City Flood Plain Management Plan, which was developed in 2017. Because of this plan, we anticipate that qualifying property owners will be able to enjoy a 30% reduction in flood insurance premiums beginning next year.
  • Ordinance 1611 is a bond ordinance for $1,125,000, which will fund water/sewer utility improvements along numerous streets in Sea Isle City. This bond ordinance also funds design work for other projects that will be described in future Project Updates.  <<READ MORE>>
