E-NEWSLETTER

From the City of Sea Isle City

MARCH 7, 2024

MAYOR'S MESSAGE

On Tuesday, I was very pleased to attend the preconstruction meeting for Sea Isle City’s future Community Center – and to meet representatives from Ernest Bock & Sons, Inc., the company that will be performing the construction. That meeting was the first step in the building process; and before long, Bock & Sons will begin to bring construction equipment on-site. Therefore, we can all look forward to seeing “shovels in the ground” in the weeks ahead.

Once we have confirmed the construction schedule, we will determine a date for our official Groundbreaking Ceremony, which I anticipate will take place on a Saturday morning soon after the contractor begins work.

ATTNETION PROPERTY OWNERS

All Property Owners Are Asked

To Assist The City Clerk's Office

The City Clerk’s Office recently mailed application forms for Municipal Rental Licenses to all Sea Isle City property owners – which was done for two reasons. First, because every property that is rented to seasonal or year-round tenants is required to have a Municipal Rental License (even if that property is only rented for a short period, or if the owner books the listing independently, through a local realtor, or with an online rental service such as Airbnb). Secondly, the mailing was created to update the City Clerk’s rental database (thus helping the City confirm which homes are being used as rental properties and which are not).

Therefore, the City is asking all property owners (even those who do not rent their properties to tenants) to complete and submit the Municipal Rental License form to the Clerk’s Office.

If you do not rent-out your property, we ask you to simply sign the box that reads “I Do Not Rent the Property Above” and include your local address on the form – and also, ignore the self-inspection form and obviously don’t include a payment.

If you received the Municipal Rental License application form and threw it in the recycling bin, you are not alone. If that’s the case, we ask that you simply print the form by using the link below, and then send it to the Clerk’s Office.

If you have questions or require additional assistance, please phone (609) 263-4461 ext. 1200. Thank you!
