Discover the Locating the Sacred Festival
Be engaged. Be inspired.
Explore what "sacred" means to you.
What do a giant inflatable floating Buddha in Queens, a Butoh performance in the Bronx, and a dance flash mob in Manhattan have in common? They are all part of the Locating the Sacred Festival, our groundbreaking 25-event citywide festival exploring the "sacred."
The Festival will take place from September 12 to 23, 2012. Discover the full Festival Program on our website at www.locatingthesacred.org.
Also find out about our Opening Concert, on September 12, 2012, at the Church of the Ascension, featuring a unique program of music with sound artist Bora Yoon and the musicians of the Sufi Riyaaz Qawwali. Get your tickets for this groundbreaking concert as we launch the Festival and engage in 12 days of community-building. For more details and tickets, click here
