What's Your New Year's Resolution?

It's the season when many of us look back, reflect, and make plans for the coming year. Why not take your inspiration from some of our heroes from the history of science?

This month we're imagining New Year's resolutions for scientific luminaries, from famed physicist Isaac Newton to Stephanie Kwolek, the inventor of Kevlar.

We'll unveil new resolutions each day, starting on December 27.
