As many of you already know, the state of Pennsylvania has adopted code changes that will impact the work of many of our                          

members.  The 2014 National Electrical Code will be the

New Codes Take Effect 10/1/18

approved code for residential projects; in Philadelphia, commercial work will be specified to the 2017 National Electrical Code.  Jumping two and three code cycles ahead is a significant advancement and will likely require you and your employees to become familiar with the new set of standards.  EAP is already in the final planning stages to host a class which will take place late summer (learn more below).  Don't miss your change to get a jump on code changes before the busyness of September starts!

Electrical Contractors Section Meeting - Update for the Fall
After careful consideration, the leadership of both the Delaware/Chester County Electrical Contracto rs Section as well as the Bucks/Montgomery County Electrical Contractors Section has agreed to combine section meetings this fall.  Our goal will be to keep the event as centrally located as possible and bring in high-value content focused on code change compliance.  More details will be published late summer.
