EA Extra - NEC Update, New PECO Contractor Portal and More

New PECO Contractor Portal

PECO launched a new online rebate application portal on January 1, 2018. You can access the new portal by visiting peco.com/rebates or use this shortcut. Be sure to bookmark the new page. Also, please re-register for a new username and password as your old information will no longer be valid. Prior to using the portal, check out the new Portal Training video here.

If you need any assistance with the portal, please contact David Beaulieu, Program Manager, at 518-330-4703 or via email ( [email protected]).

Please be advised that rebates from 2017 will not be transferred into the new portal. If you need to check the status of an application you submitted on behalf of your customer in 2017, please call 1 (888) 259-9125 for assistance.

H&AC Residential Rebate Program Update

The 2018 Heat Pump, Central Air Conditioning, and Mini Split Rebate Program will soon be available. H&AC Contractors will receive information on how to participate in the coming weeks as we work to finalize manufacturer and distributor partners. The spring program will mirror the fall 2017 program with the following timeline:

Spring 2018 Program Dates:

Contracts cannot be signed before: Wednesday, February 14, 2018
Contracts must be signed by: Wednesday, April 25, 2018
Deadline for installation: Wednesday, May 16, 2018
Paperwork due date: Wednesday, May 23, 2018

The EAP continues to push referrals to our contractor network as a key member benefit. Not only does PECO refer customers directly to EAP for contractor referrals, the public can access our online Find A Contractor search function to locate a contractor near them. Help us grow awareness of the EAP by sharing our messages on Facebook, LinkedIn, and/or Twitter.

In order to be part of the referral program, your company must maintain updated insurance information and service-area zip codes with the EAP. Contact Arielle Sternman with questions or updates.

Organized by the Engineers' Club of Philadelphia, Delaware Valley Engineers Week brings together local corporations and professionals to promote the value of engineers, celebrate the value of engineering technology and innovation, and grow interest among the nation's youth in the areas of math, science and engineering.
