Dear Industry Constituent,

Since I assumed the role of executive director, I have been visiting members in the area to better understand their unique needs and challenges. Most recently I had the opportunity to visit with a Technical Training Program member, Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT) . I was very impressed with the vast array of programming available and of course was most interested in learning about the electrical and HVAC curriculums. On the day I visited, MBIT was hosting the SkillsUSA District Two competitions which brought together eight area career and technical schools from Bucks, Delaware, and Montgomery counties. Check out the competition pictures here .

MBIT is eager to get members involved and participating in a variety of ways such as joining their Occupational Advisory Committee, becoming a judge for events like the SkillsUSA event, or providing a career path for graduating students. MBIT is not the only technical school that is a member of the EAP; check out the EAP Membership Directory and think about connecting with a local school. You never know where that next star employee may come from!
