Today we're featuring a few new 1/18 scale models and a new book title due to arrive next week. We've also included a couple interesting 1/18 scale models available for pre-order:

Due to arrive from AutoArt early next week is this stunning new 1/18 scale Maserati MC12 Roadcar in Metallic Blue ($286.00 - Reserve  HERE) along with a restock of their highly detailed 1/18 scale 1955 LeMans winning Jaguar D-Type ($286.00 - Reserve  HERE).

Also due to arrive next week, Spark Model's 1/18 scale resin replica of Jackie Stewart's 1969 Italian Grand Prix winning Matra MS80, seen below. Stewart scored the victory and clinched the first of his 3 Formula One World Championships in one of the most dramatic finishes in F1 history. The gap between Stewart and fourth place finisher Bruce McLaren (with Jochen Rindt and Jean-Pierre Beltoise in between) was less than 1/5 of a second on the ultra-fast Monza circuit.

In addition to the Driver's championship, Stewart clinched the Constructor's Championship for Matra-Ford with 3 rounds of the Championship to go.  An amazing accomplishment for Ken Tyrrell's little team. Order below:

It was the first of 3 LeMans victories for the highly successful Hill / Gendebien pairing (Gendebien and Paul Frere won in 1960).

$325.00 - Reserve HERE.

AutoArt will release this highly detailed 1/18 scale Bugatti Veyron L'Edition Centenaire in French Blue / J-P Wimille as part of their Signature Series this summer. Klemantaski: Master Motorsports Photographer

by Paul Parker

Photographs by the Klemantaski Collection

$75.00 - Reserve HERE

The next best thing to attending a race in person is the opportunity to relive it through high-quality photography. Most images merely document the event--rare are those photographs that capture the event. These are the photos that fans turn to again and again. Louis Klemantaski inserted himself into the action - whether that meant standing just off-course in a corner, roaming the paddock and infield, or riding shotgun in a Mille Miglia race car. In the process, he captured some of the most iconic images in motorsports, preserving these exciting events for all time.

Louis Klemantaski is one of history's greatest motorsports photographers. The immediacy and excitement his images evoke are unsurpassed. He worked during what is often considered racing's golden era, that period immediately just prior to WWII through the early 1970s when the sport was still the province of passion and daring, before huge budgets and massive sponsorship forever changed its tenor. Klemantaski's subjects spanned road racing, Grand Prix, and F1 competition.

Klemantaski: Master Motorsports Photographer is the only book in print devoted to the photographer's full body of work. Hundreds of the best Klemantaski images have been collected to provide the only opportunity to own and enjoy his key work in a single volume. No racing or photography fan will want to miss this book!

Hardcover | 272 pages | 12 x 9.75 in. | 302 color & 55 b/w photos
