Dear ECEDHA Members, Industry Partners, and Colleagues,
It was great to see you all at the 2016 ECEDHA Annual Conference and ECExpo in La Jolla, California. This event was our most successful conference to-date, driving the largest numbers of attendance and corporate participation. There was no doubt that the program was full of exuberance and collegiality. The Torrey Pines location was spectacular - complete with an adjacent golf course, scenic hiking trails leading to a protected beach, all accompanied by great weather, company, and food. This year also marked the use of a new conference Mobile App, ideal for staying up-to-date on program details and connecting with fellow conference attendees.

Recap: ABET Workshop at ECEDHA 2016
ABET. If there is any single word (well, acronym) more dreaded by engineering department chairs and deans, please let me know. Thanks to the good folks at ECEDHA however, those of us in electrical and computer engineering no longer need to breakout into a cold sweat at the thought of the dreaded Self Study Report. The ABET Workshop held on March 18 just prior to the 2016 Annual ECEDHA Conference ECExpo provided an excellent source of information and discussion for those of us with impending ABET visits.
