2016-17 OVERALL CLUB CHAMPION & NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
The ECNL Overall Club Championship is the most coveted award in the ECNL, as it recognizes consistent competitive excellence across every age group in the member club. The 2016-17 ECNL Season brings back a previous winner of the award, which shows the consistency of this member club's high level of play. Congratulations to the 2016-2017 ECNL Overall Club Champion, Michigan Hawks!
Russini is originally from the Bronx, New York having grown up most of her life in New Jersey, both of which helped cultivate her hard-nosed mentality. She grew up playing every sport she could from soccer and softball to ballet and track & field. Russini's grit, love of a challenge and constant demand of excellence from within is what led her down a path of success in broadcast journalism.
As the Head Coach for the U.S. Women's National Team, Tony DiCicco was a World Champion, Olympic Gold Medalist and member of the Hall of Fame. Beyond those honors, he was a pioneer in the women's game in the United States. Most importantly he was a mentor and friend to so many in and out of the game of soccer.
Maggie Everett is a student-athlete at Gardner-Webb University and currently coaches the U8/U9 GCCSA Cobras girls team. Everett is an Internationals SC ECNL Alum, and recently completed the USSF "E" coaching course. She looks forward to pursuing additional coaching education opportunities after her collegiate career.
