OVER 1,100 COLLEGE-BOUND ATHLETES IN THE GIRLS ECNL CLASS OF 2018
This year's graduating class of the Girls ECNL has once again set the standard, showing why the Girls ECNL is the top youth female development platform in the world. More than 1,100 players in the Girls ECNL Class of 2018 will go on to play soccer at the collegiate level this fall, with 794 players committed to play in NCAA Division I programs.
The second annual Elite Clubs National League Coaching Symposium was held in San Diego, CA from January 26-28, with nearly 150 coaches from across the United States in attendance.
The three-day event featured a world-class lineup of presenters: Ian Barker, Todd Beane and Doug Lemov.
At the peak of her career, ECNL alum Andi Sullivan's fairytale came crumbling down with an awkward landing two years ago. Now, she is back in the USWNT rotation, the number one overall 2018 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) draft pick and looking at a bright future in soccer.
ECNL Alums' names were called over and over again at the 2018 NWSL Draft that took place at the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 19th. 26 of the 40 players drafted were ECNL Alums, accounting for 65% of the total 2018 draft class.
