The mission of ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians is to build flourishing churches that make disciples of Jesus Christ.
"Focusing on our Spiritual Vitality"
- A word from ECO Synod Executive, Dana Allin

I am thrilled with the number of churches who are utilizing the "Becoming a Flourishing Church" series that is available on our website. The feedback has been very positive as many leaders wrestle with the question of what is next for their congregations as they seek to truly flourish...  Read More.
Featured Church Plant:
THE GROVE CHURCH
David Hancock is the lead planter of The Grove Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. It exists to help build a flourishing city by helping people find their story through the glory, beauty and worth of God, which is discovered through the good news of Jesus echoing in the halls of hearts and resounding in all the nook and crannies of the city. As the gospel is embraced a new story is written. It is a story that brings hope out of despair, love out of indifference, and life out of death.

ECO THEOLOGY TASK FORCE

"After Jesus was baptized he was "led up into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil" (Matthew 4:1). During this season of Lent we consider Jesus' temptation, and we ought to be reminded of another temptation by the devil, of Adam and Eve in Genesis 3. The mission of God, when we consider the whole of Scripture, is to prepare a people worthy of ruling with him with his character..."

COVENANT
CARE

"Over the past year, I am thankful to have been involved with a couple of initiatives through ECO.  The pilot project of the Discipleship Initiative was a great learning experience on how to develop a disciple-making culture within a church.  Also, I have been actively involved with one of our Mission Affinity Groups which includes four churches who are going through the Elder Leadership Institute (ELI) together..."

GLOBAL OUTREACH

"One of the most frequent observations that I hear when facilitating exchanges with Outreach Foundation partners in other countries is how joyous they are despite the often difficult circumstances that they face. I often hear, "Can some of that bliss be brought back home?" ... As we share our lives with other parts of the body of Christ, we get to experience even more of both the enduring and contagious nature of joy."
