THANK YOUS ALL  AROUND!!

A big thank you to everyone who supported our Diaper Drive for Choices Pregnancy Center in Coraopolis. This year we collected 2,293 diapers and training pants - enough to diaper a child for a whole year!

Thank you to all those that donated blood during the blood drive.  Your donation can be live saving and is greatly appreciated.

IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER

Please first check the homepage of St. Stephen's Church website for building  closings and then KDKA TV and CBS Pittsburgh website.

SATURDAY MORNING WORKOUT

We have to take care of the bodies God gave us and it is so much more fun to do it together! Come Saturday mornings through Lent in Promise Land as we sweat through the Insanity workout series. 8-9AM. Bring water and a yoga-mat or towel (for the many crunches!). Don't worry if you haven't worked out in a while- Insanity is pretty insane and most of us will have to modify (cheat) a little! No judgments- just laughter, sweat and hopefully no tears.

Women's Ministries will be hosting community tables at the Lenten Dinners, on Wednesday evenings. We would love to have you come and sit with us as we enjoy the meal and teaching together!

THURSDAY DINNER GROUP

On March 12th all single women of any age and station in life are invited to come for a home-cooked meal and a teaching from the Psalms by Steve Palmer. Dinner ($3 charge) begins at 6:00, followed by the teaching time at 7:00.  Reservations strongly encouraged as they are so very helpful to us in our preparation. Please help us by calling the church office at 412-741-1790 to register!

Bring your gently used clothing, accessories, shoes, a side dish and leave with some new to you clothing items and accessories. If you cannot make the event and have items to donate, drop off your items at the church office.

Please join us on Friday, March 13th at 9:15am in the Henning House for Mommy Meet-Up.  This meetings topic will be Babywearing, lead by expert Laura McCarthy.  Mommy Meet-Up is a group for moms of young children, for more information contact Amy Kelly or like us on Facebook!

The Christy House ministry is in need of an experienced, creative cook for Friday soup and salad luncheons. There are some great benefits: we have a fun team of volunteers, we serve delightful guests from the communities, and the proceeds are a gift to various ministries and missions.  If you're interested in knowing more, contact Amy Helffrich at 412-586-2591 for details about pay, hours and menus.

Help support women and children by eating lunch. Delicious soups, salads and the renowned cookie trays are served in our warm and welcoming Victorian atmosphere. Open Friday's from 11:30-1:30.

WEEKLY SCRIPTURE LESSON - Psalm 42:1-4
As a deer pants for flowing streams,
so pants my soul for you, O God.
 My soul thirsts for God,
    for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God?[b]
My tears have been my food
    day and night,
while they say to me all the day long,
    "Where is your God?"
These things I remember,
as I pour out my soul:
how I would go with the throng
and lead them in procession to the house of God
with glad shouts and songs of praise,
    a multitude keeping festival.
