EDI's Summer Leadership Intern
TOMOHIRO NAKANO
Tomohiro was born and raised in Ibaraki prefecture, Japan. He moved to Tokyo and attended Waseda University for a degree in Aerospace Engineering. He is now a graduate student there in the Aerospace Engineering program. He designs the wings of future airplanes. He is currently in Seattle because he took a leave of absence for a year, to study business at Bellevue College. His dream is to be a leader in world aviation, so he wants to expand his knowledge not only in his technical skills but also in the business side of aviation. He was an assistant teacher of a Japanese class at Bellevue College where he met an EDI graduate who told him about the EDI program. He decided he wanted to do his internship with us. He is also a rugby coach at the University of Washington and the team was the champion of the North West conference last season. Tomohiro is hoping to improve upon his leadership skills with this EDI internship.
