Staff Member Spotlight
Jaclyn Walsh

I went to Ascension from preK-3 to eighth grade. I loved and missed this school and all of the staff so much that I came back to help! This is my first year helping out here. I’m excited to be working with EDP.

Thank YOU!!

Happy New Year to all of our EDP families, and thank you so very much for the many cards, treats, gifts and donations to the staff bonus fund. You made our Christmas that much brighter, and it was much appreciated! We feel thankful, grateful and very blessed for the ongoing support from our EDP families. Thank you!
News You Can Use

  • Parents, please remind students that they should NOT be bringing toys from home to EDP. We have been seeing many trading cards and collectables lately, which need to remain at home or in backpacks. We have plenty of toys to share in our EDP rooms, and books from home are always welcome!

  • 2018 EDP Tax Statements will be issued before the end of the month and sent via email. If you do not receive one or need additional information, please contact EDP Supervisor, Jessica Nowicki, at [email protected] or 708-434-1529.

  • Please continue to notify EDP of any changes to your child's extra-circular schedule in regards to activities that take place during Extended Day sessions, including sports practices and games.

  • REMINDER: December payments were due on 1/15/19. Any outstanding balances must be paid by 1/30/19, or EDP services are subject to suspension. Please contact [email protected] or 708-434-1529 with any billing questions.
St. Joseph: The Patron Saint of EDP

Recently, Ascension classrooms have selected their own patron saints to pray to. In Extended Day, we have chosen St. Joseph, patron saint of workers. We pray that he continues to guide and watch over our many working families!
St. Joseph, you who loved Jesus with a genuine fatherly love, we ask you to pray for us as we follow the Way of Jesus in our everyday lives. You understand the challenges of raising a family, earning a living, facing the difficulties of life, and always remaining faithful to God.
We now turn to you and ask for your intercession. By your prayers, obtain for us the special graces we need to be faithful to our own specific vocation and live our lives in service to Jesus as you did.
