Emerging Leaders Society Member Spotlight
Cristina Andrewleski

" As a new resident of York County, I have fallen in love not only with York, but with its community. I was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador and moved to the United States in 2001 to attend college. After living in this amazing nation for 14 years, I was very fortunate to become an American Citizen. I relocated to York County in 2015 and am now a proud inhabitant of Dover Township. Working as a Sales Director in the Employee Benefits department at The Glatfelter Agency has made me realize the direct impact that partner agencies of the United Way have on our community. Shortly after starting my career at TGA in 2014, I began to support United Way. I currently serve on the United Way's Annual Campaign Cabinet and the Board of Directors at Life's New Beginning in York. My free time is spent with my daughter Leila, who I am teaching Spanish and my miniature Dachshund, Seminole.

Having lived in a third world Country like Ecuador, I have come to recognize the available opportunities and resources we have here in the US to help our community thrive and grow. Joining the Emerging Leaders Society has been a way to not only meet open minded, generous individuals of integrity but has provided an opportunity to support the same community that has already done so much for my daughter and I, by welcoming us and making us feel right at home.
