In an effort to support the High School Trips and other school initiatives, we have an on-going bottle drive at Clear Water Academy. This is an easy way to contribute!
Drop off your bottles, cans, and milk jugs to the shed next to the gym. The shed will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm. Monday to Friday.

URGENT:
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We need some helping hands to make sure this year's Shrove Tuesday Pancake Day runs smoothly. Please consider signing-up to help. Thank you in advance!
As we prepare to enter the season of Lent (Ash Wednesday to Good Friday), the penitential period before Easter, School Council will host the annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Day on Tuesday, February 13th in the gym. Students, teachers, and staff will be served a pancake lunch consisting of pancakes, sausages, and juice. If your child(ren) have healthy appetites, please pack them extra snacks.
Shrove Tuesday is a day for celebrating before we enter the Lenten season of fasting and prayers. People traditionally cleared their cupboards of goods such as sugar, fats and eggs before Lent.

Student Council Hosts Crusaders Pep Rally
Friday, February 9th
Students in Grades 4 to 12 will have classes in the morning and at 12:00 noon, they will proceed to the gym for the Pep Rally.
For Junior High and High School students, all 4 classes will be 50 minutes each and will take place before noon.
Hot dogs and drinks will be provided for all classes attending - thanks to our Junior Crusaders for sponsoring! Student Council will lead students in games and cheers and introduce all of our basketball players prior to the game
at 1:00 p.m.
From 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., students will be cheering on our very own Crusaders as they kick off the basketball tournament. If you are able to attend we would love for some of our parent fans to join us for this event!
February 9th will also be a Spirit Day for all students and staff. Please come dressed in jeans and Clear Water colours, red, blue and white. We want to see your Crusaders pride!

Men's Breakfast
February 13th
Clear Water Academy is pleased to offer, once again, our Men's Breakfast Series - Elements of Inspired Leadership. The breakfasts provide a forum for men to help them in their formation and leadership as husbands, fathers and leaders in their work.
The theme for our series this winter/spring is "GETTING BACK TO THE GAME - Living as a Christian Man in Today's World"
Our next breakfast will take place on
Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 7:30 am at the Petroleum Club.

Walking with Purpose
Women's Study
Walking with Purpose is a beautiful program for women interested in growing in their faith through a guided study of scripture.
The program started, but it's not too late to join! The next session will be on Tuesday, February 27. Each session will begin with the celebration of the Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m.
Dates for the study:
Feb 27, Mar 20, Apr 17, and May 22.
Cost:
$25 (includes the workbook)
