EMCC started its life as EMC (European Mentoring Council) in 1992 founded by David Clutterbuck and David Megginson.  In 2002 coaching was added and we became the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) with five founders: David Clutterbuck, David Megginson, Eric Parsloe, Julie Hay and Sir John Whitmore.

In 2017 we're celebrating our 25th Anniversary and there will be many special events including:

• A special anniversary present for all members on the 25th of each month - see below for your first present for 25 January
• A link with a designated charity also celebrating their 25th anniversary with opportunities for members
• Special celebratory events in each country
