In addition to supporting the clinical information system software and related processes; you will work with the project and support teams to ensure appropriate development, training, implementation, support and evaluation of clinical information system application functionality.

This position is responsible for the support of the Patient Billing module MedSeries 4. Upon successful training and orientation, you will provide support to PFS/Admitting and Registration staff throughout the health system's enterprise. You may also assist with application testing and software builds. You will develop and implement strategies for adoption and optimization of standard application support and evaluate impact. You will also implement continuous process improvements. Must have operational knowledge of healthcare workflows in a Patient Billing and/or Patient Registration environment, processes, and practices sufficient to act as a leadership resource for clinical applications support teams.
This position is located in Roseville, CA. Two positions available:
- Patient Billing
- Registration
Key Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to make discretionary decisions related to support prioritization and delivery in a fast-paced, clinical environment.
-Hands on practical experience with the Patient Billing and Registration process. Extremely helpful to have experience working with MedSeries 4. Very helpful to have experience working with electronic medical record technology.
- Self-starter, quick learner, internally motivated toward excellent service.
- Business education, as well as membership within a professional group, i.e., patient business, IT, informatics, or other business specialty.
- Some travel and on-call required.
POSITION SUMMARY: We seek a Support Analyst who is comfortable with Billing and Admitting functions from a user standpoint. With this knowledge, you will assist business professionals with issues they are experiencing while using the system. We provide training and support for you in order to be comfortable and confident in the role. You will be supporting the MedSeries 4 applications and related processes both in person and to remote sites via telephone.
Prior Experience: Two (2) years experience in hospital billing/admitting clinical environment.
