Stated clerk applications needed; deadline extended
to August 1
The Committee on Nominations has extended to Aug. 1 the application deadline for the position of stated clerk for the Presbytery of the Twin Cities Area.
Bill Davnie has presented his resignation as stated clerk of the Presbytery effective Sept. 15. The PTCA's Personnel Committee has prepared a revised job description for the stated clerk; that job description can be found by clicking here. Please note: this position is both an officer of the Presbytery and a compensated staff position, requiring 15 hours of work each week (on average) at an annual salary of $22,500. According to the Presbytery's bylaws, the Nominations Committee will receive applications and make a recommendation of a single candidate to the Sept. 12 meeting of the Presbytery for election. The deadline for applications is now Aug. 1. The application form can be found by clicking here.
