An Evening of Global Café
Local Resources for International Familes in Tuscaloosa
Tuesday, September 19
5:00 - 7:00 pm
Capital Hall

Welcome to Tuscaloosa! Meet people at Global Café. This evening, local friends will tell us about free resources for International Families. We will hear from Charter Morris of UA International Student and Scholar Services, Tyler Chestnut of UA Graduate Parent Support, and Philip Johnson of Shelton State Community College.  Join us for a fun evening and bring your family and friends. Many international scholars will be there, and we interpret for one another. Free and open to the public. Free parking at evening events.

Directions to Capital Hall:  Drive down Campus Drive East (near the Rec Center). When you get to the four-way stop, you are at Bryce Lawn Drive, the entry to the Bryce Property (which used to house the state mental health facility but now belongs to The University of Alabama). Turn in to the Bryce Property. When you drive up to the historic all-white building, make a right turn at the stop sign. We are in the modern building on the left after you turn. The Silver Route bus serves us. Welcome.

The Campus Dialogues offer a weekly opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to engage one another about important issues related to identity, current events, and campus life. Dialogues will take place this fall in the Ferguson Center Great Hall on Wednesdays from September 6 - November 15, starting at 1:00 pm and concluding by 1:50 pm. Come and share your thoughts and listen to the perspectives of others in an inclusive and respectful environment!
