EQ Awards Deadline Coming Up

The industry-nominated EnerQuality Awards are now open for nominations. Do you know a builder, evaluator or thought-leader deserving of recognition?

Nominations are open until January 19, 2018 for  ENERGY STAR Building of the Year, Best Green Marketing Campaign, Net Zero Builder, Ontario Green Builder, Evaluator of the Year, Builder Achievement Award and much more. 
 
Anyone can submit a nomination. People and organizations are welcome to nominate others or themselves. 

Arista Homes To Receive Impact Award
 
Arista Homes will be recognized with the Impact Award at the EQ Awards Gala on February 22 at the Universal EventSpace in Vaughan. 

The award is given to a builder that has demonstrated a long-term dedication to sustainable building practices. 

Since their  Jefferson Forest development in 2009, Arista has been committed to green initiatives, enrolling more than 1,200 ENERGY STAR homes around the GTA. 
 
Breakfast TV's Kevin Frankish to Host EQ Awards Gala

On February 22nd, the EQ Awards Gala Masters of Ceremonies will be CityTV's Breakfast Television host Kevin Frankish. 

Frankish helped Breakfast Television  become the #1 morning show in Southern Ontario with two million viewers weekly. Known for  his trademark suspenders and quick wit, Frankish has been repeatedly recognized for his career achievements and community involvement. 

He will bring our Awards Gala his warmth, humour and unbeatable charisma.

Energy Advisor Training Coming January 2018

January 16-19, 2018, EnerQuality will be offering the  Foundation Level & Energy Advisor training . This workshop is designed to prepare energy advisors for the EnerGuide Rating System version 15 Foundation Level and Energy Advisor exams. It is also a step towards becoming an Energy Advisor in the ENERGY STAR  for New Homes and Net Zero programs.

It will be taught by Andy Oding and Toby Smith of Building Knowledge.
