January 2018

Dear Community Member,

As we approach the new year, we celebrate our accomplishments and look
forward to the year ahead! In 2017 we changed people's lives with educational, social and fitness programs. Just two of the many positive comments from Gloria Coles and Grace Woolridge's Living Well class evaluations "I received the information that I needed for a healthful and meaningful life which I am looking forward to."  "Excellent team, very patient and easy to understand."  In 2018 we look forward to changing more lives by facilitating evidence-based health and wellness classes both here at East Side and other locations in the neighborhood.

The Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging (MAAA) has invested in a new website to expand outreach for fall prevention and disease self-management classes.  Project EVA is a service delivery organization for MAAA.   Check out MAAA's Juniper: Your Health, Your Community website    https://yourjuniper.org/  and learn how together, we are creating a healthier Minnesota -- you'll see some familiar faces from East Side!

East Side is  committed to supporting a community where people of all ages are healthy, safe, and welcomed.  W e look forward to seeing you in 2018 !
