Thank you to the photographers who entered more than 360 photos in the 2017 Focus on Farming Calendar contest this summer. There were many stunning images showing agriculture and rural life at its best. Below is a slideshow featuring all entries, with the images selected to appear in the calendar designated as "winners." Even if an image wasn't selected to appear in the 2017 calendar, it may still be used on the FCI website, social media posts, and postcards or flyers. Keep snapping away during all four seasons and enter again for the 2018 calendar!
FCI regional offices hosted 78 Meals in the Field events the week of and following National Farm Safety & Health Week. More than 500 farmers, neighbors, family members, and workers were served hot lunches wherever they were working and were reminded to make safety a first priority through the busy harvest season. Farm families that hosted an event received farm first aid kits and Farm Credit centennial commemorative Boos cutting boards.
